( the pictures come from gansey's phone, of all the theater critters. some featuring henry, some with just the critters themselves, and some with the selfie camera turned on and the camera pointing down to the critter as gansey offers them pets. )

theres a container kind of hidden just inside near the door to the courtyard that has lil snacks + shit they can eat
also if you whistle a tune some of them dance its very cute

( he gets a selfie for his troubles — nick on his bed with chester on his shoulder, and what appears to be an enormous ball of fur behind him.

not that a room that henry has never been in before is particularly identifying, but the space around him is distinctly nick-like, at least. piles of paper littered everywhere across the bed with supposedly helpful sticky notes on both the notes, the books and the wall, plants crammed everywhere that they can go. an awful lot like his work space, actually, just spread out across a bed instead of a bench. )

( nick is in a--weird mood, that isn't quite bad but is lightyears away from good, antsy and fidgeting and restless in a way that normally translates into the kind of amusing, bubbly energy that most people see from him. right now is the flip side, the intolerable stir-crazy itch that can't even entirely be blamed on the time of year. this is just what he's like, nick is just usually busy enough to hide the bad parts.

this little exercise is doing a surprisingly decent job at soothing over frayed nerves. nick doesn't react immediately, but it's not long before he flicks on his own camera, so that he can coo at them all in real time too. )

I love you more than anyone in the whole entire world. ( to the critters, of course, though nick takes the opportunity to grin and wink all the same. ) Sorry Henry.
